Four years after the events of Halloween Kills, Laurie Strode, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, is determined to free herself from the trauma of her past. As she prepares to write her memoir and move on with her life, a new evil emerges in the form of Corey Cunningham, a young man with a troubled history. After being accused of murdering a young boy he was babysitting, Corey becomes the target of the Haddonfield community’s anger and resentment.

As Laurie becomes aware of Corey’s dark past, she fears that he might be a new vessel for Michael Myers’ malevolent spirit. As the night of Halloween approaches, Laurie must confront her deepest fears and face off against both Corey and the elusive Michael, who has been in hiding for years. With the help of her granddaughter Allyson, played by Andi Matichak, Laurie must put an end to the evil that has haunted her for decades.
