Description:
Imagine tuning into a late-night talk show only to encounter a charming yet malevolent host who brings your darkest fears to life. In Late Night with the Devil, a struggling podcaster named Matt (played by Liam Hemsworth) lands a job as a producer on the popular The Devil’s Den talk show. Each episode, Matt’s smooth-talking boss Jack Harris (played by Tobey Maguire) showcases Hollywood’s powerhouses, discussing the industry and tackling taboo topics in his mesmerizing, humor-filled monologues.
Yet beneath the show’s entertaining facade lies a disturbing reality: with each coming episode, guests have a certain tendency of inexplicably vanishing after sharing with Jack on air. As a consequence, Jack gradually becomes obsessed with those ominous enigmas and starts investigating the cause of these sinister disappearances. The closer he gets to the enigma, however, the darker he becomes; forcing Jack to confront not only an enigma so intriguing that still calls his curiosity but the real horror โ himself.
When it’s Jack’s turn to experience first-hand the terrors which were visited on his celebrities’ dark night on earth, now a nightmare begins with unpredictable darkness, leaving Matt wondering who could win – hope, Jack, or his malevolent producers?
